People’s Republic of Windsor Road Street Party

The People’s Republic of Windsor Road, Kalk Bay, invites you to help us reclaim our street on New Year’s Eve.

How?

By dancing on it all night! We’re blocking off our street with a bright orange 1960 Borgward, hiring a jukebox and going wild. We’ll be in the street, as well as in and out of each other’s houses.

Let’s create a Temporary Autonomous Zone of sensual pleasure! Come spend the evening with Cape Town’s coolest people (ahem).

To be followed by an early morning naked shark hunt off Danger Beach – armed only with a sharp stick. First one to catch a shark gets a case of Black Label! Those not brave enough, or too drunk to tell a shark from a
kelp forest, can doze on the beach.

Cost: R 30 per person

Bring your own drinks etc.

Why are we charging?

Because we rented a jukebox for R1700 and need to cover the cost).
