Heart of Midlothian

Heart of Midlothian

We finally got out of London, and took a night bus to Scotland. We arrived in Edinburgh at around 9 this morning, and we’re staying at a backpackers’ on the Royal Mile, just down the road from the awesome Edinburgh Castle. I haven’t seen much of the city yet, but it is one of the most awe-inspiringly beautiful places I have ever seen – I love it.
I am going to stay here for a while – tomorrow I’ll go off and look for a job – maybe in a kilt shop – and a place to live, so that when the festival comes in August I am settled and have some money to spare. What a wonderful place.

Hey! Great that you’ve posted again. Wow, we’ll have to rouse the posse and attend the festival then, seeing we now have a guide ensconced there. Well done! Is there a Pantland tartan?

The tartan is Robertson – haven’t bought a kilt yet though…
